Great Bach Calendars? Yes, Exactly 33 Different, Cool Bach Calendars

Wouldn't two Bach calendars have been enough? Or ten Bach calendars? Or – if it has to be – 20 Bach calendars? No ... it had to be 33 Bach calendars!

Right, it really borders on exaggeration. But hand on heart: Isn't the whole Bach Mission – that is, the Bach on Bach project and also what the Publishing House Bach 4 You is doing – somehow exaggerated?! But now to the topic. Once upon a time we, the author and the Publishing House in the Bach Mission, thought of a single Bach calendar. However, we found it too bad when we were quite excited to hold the first wood engravings in the subject of Bach in our hands. Or an etching of the master, or any of the ancient documents, from the tiniest stamp to a huge poster with – in this case – noble historic stains: We wanted to show all these treasures not only once on a website ... and that was it and off into the drawer. Only so that you can look at this Bach stamp on your smartphone on the train between New York and Boston even tinier than it already is "in real life". No, we really didn't want to do so little with all these treasures. And so, in the first four years of the project, many, many ideas for highly exciting calendars on the subject of Bach came into being. The first challenge in designing each Bach calendar was, of course, to find twelve motifs that really fit this Bach theme. And so, unfortunately, no calendar was created with the title "Bach ... Patrons, Opponents, Companions", as it was actually planned ... until very shortly before the end of the project. Because it was not enough to find "any" motifs on the internet on the subject. And that would have been only the suggestion to let paint a collection from it. Because: Never was and is a download – no matter what resolution – on the internet good enough for the size of the largest calendar offer. Besides the copyright situation.

It has been available since 2015 for the year 2016, and from now on for ever and ever. Every coming year again. There are twelve Bach monuments: the most beautiful and the most important. But here, on this site, you should just bring a little more time to also learn a thing or two about this or that Bach calendar. So please make up your mind now. To the overview of the Bach calendars? Or to the shop? Or just read on (... that's even possible without clicking)? Your choice: this year and next year. To all shops.

Only one Bach calendar with Bach on stamps? No, when we do something, we usually exaggerate a little: There are even two Bach calendars with the master on stamps. And these two both in this year and in the next year.

On this side it is now above a penultimate of 33 Bach calendars, because on another side, on another website of the project you can really experience without big search all Bach calendars "in one seat". Here, on a website for children, we address with this special topic Bach only one out of a billion children. That would be eight in the whole world. By the way: Here is the link again to all 99 music calendars of the Publishing House, including the 33 Bach calendars. From there, you can quickly get to the shop and find your favorite of the Bach calendars. Or you can head straight to the Bach 4 You shop and immediately to the Bach corner of the calendars and choose one to explore the monthly pages: Click the button below the calendar motif, scroll down, discover monthly pages. Have fun: 33 Bach calendars are waiting for you in the shop.

The Bach monuments real different: in the Bach monuments calendar. Exciting. Three sizes. This year and next year.

One More Bach Calendar and Its Story

We have searched for and found many a historical treasure around the Bach theme ... for many years. One of these treasures was a calendar on which Bach cities and Bach locations were depicted in watercolor. A historical jewel that was about 80 years old. We wanted to republish this very calendar and on the subject of Bach we are used to everything being beyond copyright issues. After a long search – many hours of research – I was finally able to find the painter of this artwork on the internet. Now he had been dead for a long, really long time, but the time after his death simply did not add up to 70 years. From his death, not from the day when he painted and published the calendar. But because we wanted so badly to publish a calendar in watercolor style, we searched the internet for an artist. We found an artist, and she ended up painting for us. And because we of course now had the choice of what we wanted to have painted for us, we decided not on pictures of the Bach cities and Bach locations, but on pictures of the Bach monuments. And because we also found the many quotes about Johann Sebastian Bach so exciting, we thought, that's a great combination. Watercolors and Bach quotes. Please be sure to take a look at all twelve monthly sheets. You can do that with a quick click here.

A Bach calendar that nobody wants? It's twelve historical paintings, engravings and etchings, and it's twelve modern works of art. So the cool and hip Bach fans won't buy it because it's too conservative, and the conservative classical music lovers won't buy it because it's too hip and too cool. Of course ... I'm just kidding. Want to take a look at the pages? Gladly click here. By the way, you can also get this calendar "in reverse". 2024 + 2025. To the exact opposite calendar? Click here.

It was quite a challenge. If you've figured out that you can possibly refinance your Bach Mission with calendars, and you love exciting numbers like 33 and 66, and then you also think that offering 99 music calendars is a really cool idea ... then it's relatively easy to "invent" 11, 33, or 55. Finally, however, you have to think hard about how to design the last ten. I'm sure the very last one under this section was the last Bach calendar, and also the very last of the 99 music calendars, so number 99.

Actually, we also wanted to create a calendar introducing people who were important in Bach's life, but we only managed eight such people. And that is clearly too few for a calendar with twelve pages. That's why we had to abandon the idea. Even that wasn't easy for us, because we really wanted to realize the theme. But it was even more difficult to come up with another Bach calendar theme instead. 33 calendars around the Bach theme. But finally – together – we managed it, and we believe that many great calendars were created in the process. Just take a look at the monthly sheets. And you can do it with a click here. By the way, the penultimate calendar – as promised – was not the penultimate one after all. Okay, let's just call it a "bonus."

Bach cities and Bach places: A Bach calendar for Bach admirers. Order it for this year and for the next year, too.

Another "candy": the Bach calendar for the bravest among you. 2023 or 2024 or in 33 years, when you are "through" all other Bach calendars. 33 Bach calendars.  Three sizes. This year and next year. Two calendar styles. To the shop.
