The Difference in Possible Calendar Styles Offered by the Cool Publishing House in the Small Wine Village of Flein Near Heilbronn in Southern Germany
This is definitely my most "relaxed" page on this website because it explains something in a few words and three stunning pictures. The big difference in calendars in Germany and the US? There is – true for high quality calendars – no giant grid like with the US style calendars. Here in Germany, by the way, they are called brochure calendars, which we didn't realize for a long time. There is no space for notes on high-quality German wall calendars. A simple explanation: In the USA, calendars are mostly tools (... an estimated 99 percent) ... just mainly for entering short notes. In Germany, and perhaps everywhere in the EU, calendars, on the other hand, are small works of art (... again, an estimated 99 percent). You can find our US calendars/brochure calendars via this link and there you decide next for "Zazzle". Our usual poster style calendars can also be found via this link, but after clicking here, opt for the button with the yellow parts, the Bach portrait and the gray note (Bach 4 You), on the far right.
This is how this composers calendar – the title page – and, of course, a Bach calendar and a music calendar looks if you order it online or buy it in your favorite bookstore around Christmas. And this is exactly how it looks when you choose this exciting calendar from my Calendar Publisher Shop.

This is what awaits you twelve times inside if you choose the calendar in the style common in Germany. No grid, no grid at all to leave notes. Just decoration, 100 percent. The big golden number in the upper right corner reveals the month (... 1 = January). Impressive. Beautiful. 33 Bach calendars. Three sizes, This year and next year. Two calendar styles. To the shop.
This is how – in contrast to the inside sheet above – all the monthly sheets look when you remove the foil after buying your calendar in the USA. At least in 99 percent of all offerings there. That's what we call a 50-50 style calendar, a U.S. style calendar, or a brochure calendar: 50 percent beautiful, 50 percent useful, but ... "ugly"?
There are so many more cool music gifts and Bach gifts to discover. Why not visit one or two or all five "Bach 4 You" Shops on the internet. By the way: You can find the US-style music calendars, composers calendars and Bach calendars by clicking on "Zazzle" on the next page. But one after the other: First, click here.
