In Germany, they call those calendars with a huge grid "brochure calendars" and my husband and I didn't even know, that such calendars are around here. In Germany 99 of 100 calendars come in the "European style" how we call it. In the US, 99 of 100 are in the "50:50" style, how Peter and I call it, to explain the difference best. In North America, calendars are mostly used as a tool – for instance in your kitchen – to put in notes, birthdays and anniversaries. In Germany a high quality full format calendar is just a decoration item, and you can hang it in your guest bathroom, also in your kitchen, in your music room, your dining room, in a waiting area or a reception.
